Meet
Renee Chagoury
As the founder and owner of Thrifter, Ren has combined her passion for fashion with her commitment to sustainability and reducing textile waste.
From a young age, Ren was drawn to the world of fashion, as she grew up in her parent's clothing warehouse in Noosa. As she became more aware of the environmental impact of fast fashion, she knew there had to be a better way. Inspired by her children and their future, she set out to create a business that not only offered stylish and designer clothing but also promoted eco-conscious practices.
Thrifter stands out as a beacon of sustainability in the fashion landscape. Ren's business model revolves around curating pre-loved clothing and accessories, giving them new life and reducing the demand for new production and in turn allowing her community to receive 100% of their profits.

Through her platform, she encourages customers to embrace a more mindful approach to shopping by valuing quality over quantity and supporting a circular economy. Thrifter has put back over $200,000 back into the pockets of our local Sunshine Coast community members this year alone.
Ren's journey as an entrepreneur and advocate for sustainability hasn't been without challenges, but her determination and vision have propelled Thrifter to success. She believes that every small step towards a greener fashion industry makes a significant difference, and her mission is to inspire others to join the movement towards a more sustainable future. Her next adventure is designing workshops for the next generation to learn about the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling textiles.
With Ren's leadership, Thrifter continues to thrive as a testament to the power of entrepreneurship, motherhood, and environmental stewardship.
In addition, Renee runs an all female run club called Sole Sisters Run Club where she has made an impact on thousands of female runners daring them to be brave enough to just try. She has designed multiple workshops in the world of females in running with the goal to inspire more women to run and do something for themselves.
